The PSA and I-Events are delighted to announce that the prize money for October’s CIB PSA Women’s World Championship will now total $430,000 after title sponsors CIB pledged an additional $100,000 into the prize fund – meaning that for the first time ever the Women’s event will have a bigger prize purse than the men’s !!!

Sixty-four of the world’s leading female players will compete in Cairo for the coveted trophy, with the likes of World No.1 CIB Raneem El Welily, reigning World Champion Nour El Sherbini, French World No.3 Camille Serme and British Open champion CIB Nouran Gohar all set to feature as the iconic Pyramids host a World Championship for the first time since 2006.

GETTING TO THE LOCATION

In 2016 the Pyramids was the setting for the Al Ahram International, with Welily and Sherbini contesting the women’s final.
